Easter in Texas!

After the winter semester was finished, I went back home to Austin for my break. This was when I was able to spend more time with Ella and really get to know her. She is an insanely cute girl with a personality that makes you melt. It was so nice to be back home with the whole family and spend Easter with them :)

Ella was really excited when she saw her bunny...

...and even more excited when she got a purse!

And while Ella was enjoying her new gifts, Coen, Jayd, and I were on the hunt for the candy. Coen was seriously lovin' it!!

While I was home, Tauni and Jayd cleaned the garage, and I organized the pantry and Tauni's closet. It took a lot more work than it looks!

Ella and I

Ella carried that bucket around like it was purse, along with my teddy which is basically the same size as her!

We played some Connect Four while I was babysitting :)

I loved being back home and spending time with the family. The good thing about this trip was that I knew I'd be seeing them in July so it wasn't too hard to leave them.

Winter Semester 2010

I don't have a lot of pictures from my second year of university but there are a lot of memories. The Olympics made winter semester even more fun because there was the big Canada and USA rivalry. Alisha started making signs for the US so I made signs for Canada and we put them up around our apartment. My roommates were Kenzie, Alisha, Rachel, Kayla, and Mary. For the most part we all got along really well and had a good time with each other. Saturday nights we would usually have movie night when we were all home after curfew. It was a really good semester. :)

Pranks became a part of life during the winter semester. We all had fun pulling them on one another. It really started when my roommate, Alisha, said she loved pulling pranks. She told me about a prank she wanted to pull on Kenzie, her room roommate. So I told Kenzie and we did it on Alisha instead! I hid under Alisha's bed and Kenzie was in her closet. When Alisha came into her room, I jumped out and grabbed her feet. She jumped so far that I almost felt bad! After that Kenzie jumped out of the closet and scared her. It was probably the best prank we did. Others pranks we did were hiding a fake spider under pillows, in the shower, turning the light off when someone was in the shower, and pouring cold water over someone while they were in the shower.

Kenzie and I wanted to prank my room roommate, Kayla and found this one online. We got a lot of paper cups and piled them and then taped them to the door. So when Kayla opened the door in the morning, she would walk into a wall of cups. It was a lot harder than Kenzie and I thought it would be but it was really funny. Surprisingly, it lasted through the night and was really funny the next morning.

We ran out of cups when we got closer to the top so we just put paper there to block it off. There were cups all over the apartment for a couple weeks after that.

Kenzie was one of my roommates from Winter Semester and we became really close. At first, we didn't really know what to think of one another but one Tyra Banks show later and we were best friends! :)

Kenzie and I out to lunch.

We spent most of the winter semester together, along with two other good friends. We have a lot of good memories together :)

Colonial Apartment 602!

After a couple really good weeks in Austin, I flew back to Idaho for my third semester. I don't have many pictures from my second year of university but I have some really good memories ;)
These are pictures of my room decorated.

My bedroom with my new quilt :)

My wall of pictures above my head including the picture collage Kalsea made me for Christmas of pictures from when we were younger.

My dresser with my beautiful framed pictures of Coen and Ella I got for Christmas.

Lishelle drew this portrait of me for my Christmas gift. She is really good!

At the Park and UT

After Rudy's, we went to a park and ate donuts. :) Then later we went downtown and walked around the University of Texas campus. I always enjoy walking the UT campus because it is so beautiful.

Imitating George Washington.. we're that cool.

I swear Philippa was telling me what to do! haha Philippa and I had fun with the pictures.

Starting the New Year with Rudy's!

It was now a new year and the best way I can think to start a new year is with Rudy's! Philippa came to Texas after Christmas so we took her to Rudy's, only my favorite place to eat!

New Years 2010!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For New Years, The Dickson's were having a New Years Party at their house so pretty much everyone went there. My closest friends - Taylor, Kayla, and Cameron - were going so that was all I needed. We had a really good time playing games, eating food, and spending time with each other. It was nice after being away from everyone for so long. Later that night, after the party was over, we went to Whataburger to get some food...something we usually did when we went out :)

Taylor met me at my house and we got ready there. It felt like old times :)

Kayla, Me, Taylor, Zoe, and Cameron on January 1, 2010!

Best Friends
We had been away for a long time but it felt good to be able to spend the time I was able to with her at Christmas and New Years while I was home. She's always been there for me and I miss her more than she knows when I'm away from home.

Christmas 2009

KELOWNA

So, I know it's going far back but it seems like a piece of cake compared to scrapbooking which I have no idea if I'll ever get back to doing. So I am going to start with Christmas 2009 and continue on from there.

Christmas last year was different because I basically had three Christmases!! I had a little Christmas with Grama Moyor in
Kelowna because I left middle of December. Grama even had a stocking for me which I always love!
This year, Grama started a scrapbook of me with pictures of me from when I was little. Which is kind of funny because I gave grama a copy of the scrapbook I made while I was there of my first semester of university. The next day, I got on a plane to Edmonton to have a Christmas with my mom and Kalsea.

EDMONTON

Grama Schmirler got me this Canadian shirt for Christmas. I always love getting my Canadian shirts to take with me to the States. This shirt has a picture of an igloo with a Canadian Flag and says "The Canadian White House."

Going back home wouldn't be the same without my Coco! :)

And of course it just wouldn't be Christmas if there wasn't Pumpkin pie!! This is my dad
and I on the couch.

Kalsea loves to take baths so I got her Lush bath salts in lots of fun scents. I had a lot of fun picking them out :)

It was fun to visit my mom and Kalsea at their house and see my dad. They showed me where they worked, went out for dinner, went shopping, and got our nails done! :) After a few days there though I got on another plane and went to Texas for my third Christmas!

TEXAS

I was so happy to be back in Texas and spend real time with Coen and Ella at home. We spent a lot of time reading and just playing inside and out on the trampoline.

Coen, Tauni, and I eating tacos!! Something we usually do is walk downtown around Zilker Park and get something to eat.

Cedar Park just built a new arena for The Cedar Park Stars Hockey Team. We went to a game and had a ton of fun. It was nice to have some hockey in Texas!!

CHRISTMAS DAY

Coen wanted Buzz and Woody for Christmas and was very excited on Christmas morning when he saw them sitting there!

Ella liked her little ball she could spin and hear the ABC's play.

Tauni and I made beignets for breakfast that morning to remind us of our trip to New Orleans.

After breakfast, we opened more gifts. I gave Tauni and Jayd a copy of my scrapbook as well. I also gave my mom and grama Schmirler a copy. It was my big gift this year that I knew they would all appreciate.

Tauni made her very first quilt and gave it to me! It was my favorite colour and very beautiful.
